Procedures












Metal pedals



























INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text






Metal pedals





- Clean if necessary.





- Take the accelerator pedal's protector from the kit.
- Hold as illustrated and fold out the two tabs.





- Hook the protector on at the upper edge, at the same time hold the tabs and pull downwards.
- Press the protector firmly onto the pedal.





- Pull the tabs down slightly and use a mirror to check that the edges of the protector surround the pedal edges. Pull the protector to ensure that it is secure.

Applies to cars with an automatic transmission




- Remove the pedal cover by grasping at the lower edge and pulling off at the rear edge.





- Take the brake pedal's protector from the kit.
- Hold as illustrated and fold out the three tabs.





- Hook the protector on at the upper edge, at the same time hold the tabs and pull downwards.
- Press the protector firmly onto the pedal.





- Secure the protector onto the pedal and at the same time hold the tabs and pull downwards.
- Using a mirror, check that the edges of the protector are around the edges of the pedal.
- Pull at the protector to ensure that it is securely attached.

Applies to cars with manual gearbox




- Remove the pedal protector from the pedals by grasping the lower edge and pulling off backwards.

Only applies to the brake pedal




- Clean the surface using isopropanol.
- Allow to dry.





- Remove the protective film from the tape.
- Press the tape firmly onto the pedal.
- Remove the other protective tape.

Note! The surface must maintain a temperature of at least +20°C (+68°F).





- Take the brake pedal's protector from the kit.
- Hold as illustrated and fold out the three tabs.





- Hook the protector onto the brake pedal at the upper edge, at the same time hold the tabs and pull downwards.
- Press the protector firmly onto the pedal.





- Secure the protector onto the pedal and at the same time hold the tabs and pull downwards.
- Using a mirror, check that the edges of the protector are around the edges of the pedal.
- Pull at the protector to ensure that it is securely attached.
- Repeat the steps for the clutch pedal.
