Caution! Check that the head restraint is secure and that the two catches have engaged, by pulling upwards.














- Loosen the protection at the bottom.





- Route the cables under the protection.











Caution! The cables must not be stretched. They can push against the lock catch and prevent the head restraint from locking.






Note! The cables should follow the ordinary cable harness.















Caution! Check that the head restraint has locked into place by pulling it upwards.






Caution! If the the head restraint is not secure pull it up about 100 mm and push it down again. Check that the cable does not push against the catch for the head restraint lock.

- Reinstall the seat's upholstery.






Installing head restraint version 2
- Remove the knob for the lumbar support adjustment by removing the cover using a small screwdriver and pull the knob straight off.





- Take a long cable tie and thread it from the hole for lumbar adjustment and up to the hole for the head restraint's inner mounting. The cable tie must be routed between the upholstery and the protection.





- Position the head restraint as illustrated.

Applies when installing on the left-hand seat




- Pull the zip fastener forward.





- Open the zip fastener.





- Transfer the cables to the opposite side.





- Close the zip fastener.
- Fold the excess back.

Applies to all models




- Tape the cables to the cable tie.





- Place the head restraint in the seat.

Note! The cables must be in front of the head restraint tube.





- Push the head restraint in to place at the same time as feeding the cables forward.





- Using your fingers, press the cables under the protection. The cables must not press out the upholstery after installation.

- Pull the cable tie with cables through the hole and out at the lower edge.
- Remove the cable tie and tape from the cable harness.

Applies to vehicles without heated seats




- Take a cable tie with clips and install it on the edge of the cover on the inner side of the seat.

- Pull the cables forward and in under the seat. Follow the cable harness for the seat belt buckle.
- Tighten the cable tie (1).
- Secure the cable using two cable ties (2).
- Reinstall the lumbar adjustment.

Applies to vehicles with heated seats




- Pull the cables forward and in under the seat. Follow the cable harness for the seat heating element.
- Secure the cable using three cable ties (1).
- Reinstall the lumbar adjustment.

Applies to all models




- Place the seat in the vehicle.





- Connect the green connector.
- The groove and the arrow should stand directly opposite each other.





- Connect the black connector.
- The groove should stand directly opposite each other.





- Install the connector casings.





- Install cable ties around the connector casings.














- Repeat the method steps for the other seat.





- Reinstall the detached components in reverse order.
- Install batteries in the remote controls and headsets.
- Set the DVD player's regional code according to: TIE, TJ20754.
- Place remote controls, headsets, wiring and quick-guide in a suitable place in the car.
