INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text






Handsfree, Bluetooth

Note! These installation instructions show installation on a left-hand drive car. For installation on a right-hand drive car, carry out the steps on the opposite side and/or mirrored. Where the operation differs, a right-hand car is also shown with text and images. For the attachment of Velcro strips/tape, the mounting surface must be at a temperature of at least +20° C (68°F). Keep the manual for this accessory in a suitable place in the car. There may be parts in the accessories kit that are not needed for this installation.










- Screw tightening torque: 40 Nm (29.5 lbf.ft).

Note! Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

- Release the hooks using a screwdriver.

- Wrap foam tape (H) around the cable to the control panel (G).










- Position the cable in the cut-out between the dashboard and the centre console.





- Clean the area on the dashboard as illustrated, which corresponds to the size of the double-sided adhesive tape. Use a solution of 25% isopropanol and 75% water, as well as a lint free cloth. Wipe dry carefully, do not rub.
- Allow to dry.

Caution! In cases where the area is heavily soiled or treated with cockpit shine, first clean using a washing up detergent.

- Position the cable as illustrated.





























- Disconnect any further connectors.





- Route the two green connectors from the media player location and up to the ICM. Route the grey cable down to the right-hand side of the centre console. The end with two terminals must then be connected to the media players connector.





- Connect connector (1) from the cable harness (L) to connector (2), which was disconnected from the ICM.
- Wrap a thick piece of foam tape (K) around connector (1) and (2). Tear off the excess.





- Connect the connectors to the ICM.
- Reinstall the ICM and cover panel.





- Locate the 14-pin connector, which was disconnected from the media player.





1. Depress the catch.
2. Pull the connector catch out 5 mm.





- Install the terminals from the cable harness (L) in the connector.
- Press the catch back.
- Connect the connectors to the media player and tighten.















Note! Remove and install the front and upper sill panel as one unit.






















- Carry out on both sides.

- File off any sharp edges from the ceiling lighting so that the microphone cable does not chafe.













- Take two pieces of foam tape from the kit (H).
- Cut off one of the foam tape pieces in the middle.
- Apply the foam tape pieces to the microphone cable (E).





- Pull down the headlining with the interior lighting frame slightly.
- Route the microphone cable as illustrated on top of the existing cable harness to the front edge of the headlining.

Note! Position the cable so that it does not get trapped when the mounting for the sun shield is reinstalled.

Applies to LHD cars




- Make a mark on the foam tape affixed to the cable, 260 mm from the microphone.
- Secure the cable at the marks using a cable tie.

Applies to RHD cars




- Make a mark on the foam tape affixed to the cable, 300 mm from the microphone.
- Secure the cable at the marks using a cable tie.
