Condition
Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the status of the closing motor and the time taken for the tailgate to close.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The time for the closing sequence exceeds 12 seconds.
- The sensor for the first lock position does not change value when opening the liftgate lock unit.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Closing or opening of the liftgate.
