Checking calibration
The trouble code is initially set and erased first after completed calibration.
Calibration of the rear camera must be performed after:
- Changing rear camera.
- Changing Parking Assistance Camera (PAC).
- Change or adjusting of body parts that affect the camera's calibration.
Before calibrating:
- Check that the Parking Aid Camera, tailgate, tailgate handle, rear bumper, and the bumper's vertical contours are correctly installed and adjusted. For S60(2011-) there are no vertical contours to help, here the towing eye should be installed. For instructions on how to install the towing eye, see link below.
- Clean the parking camera's lens according to owner's manual.
- For best results, make sure that the surface on which the vehicle is standing is not of the same colour as the vehicle's rear bumper.
- Engage reverse gear.
Start service calibration of parking camera by clicking on the symbol for VCT2000.
Calibration activates a dash shown together with the display from the rear camera in High Level Display Front (HLDF).
Use the buttons in the calibration procedure to move the dash so that it corresponds as well as possible with the outer contours of the rear bumper. One press of the button only gives a small movement.
There are ten colors that can be chosen for the dash, change using the button to the colour that gives the best contrast.

Hint: Move up the dash so that it is a bit above the bumper. Place it correctly laterally. Move down the dash so that it is positioned vertically along the rear bumper. Rotate the dash so that the vertical lines (XC60) are placed over the rear bumper's vertical structure. For the S60(2011-), the towing eye's dash must instead be positioned above the towing eyelet.

After finished positioning, the dash shall follow the rear bumper's contours as shown.
Do not forget to save the calibration before finishing.
