Condition
The Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the control valve by measuring its voltage.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal from the control valve is too low.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.

- The control valve's cable is short-circuited to ground or has an open circuit.
