Preparatory work

Removing the generator
Remove the generator in accordance with: Generator (GEN), replacement, B8444S Service and Repair.

Removal

Removing the pulley




Remove the pulley from the rotor shaft, use Torx wrench and tool: 999 5543 SOCKET NV-22 HO2S 999 5543 Socket NV-22 HO2S.

Installation

Installing the pulley
Screw on the pulley and tighten it, use tool: 999 5543 SOCKET NV-22 HO2S 999 5543 Socket NV-22 HO2S and Torx wrench. Tighten in accordance with: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.

Finishing

Installing the generator
Install the generator in accordance with: Generator (GEN), replacement, B8444S Service and Repair.
Check the function.
