AFFECTED VEHICLES:
DESCRIPTION: A new BPM (Bluetooth(R) Phone Module), with a new BT-chip was introduced into production from structure week 200847-.
We have found a new symptom that may occur with this new BPM and its software. The phonebook names and numbers may be mixed it the mobile phone uses UTF-8, (Unicode/UCS* Transformation Format, 8-bit form) for character coding of the phonebook names and numbers in its operating system, such as Windows Mobile. This makes the phonebook unserviceable.
* UCS Universal Character Set
