Removal

Disconnect the negative battery lead. Refer to: Battery Disconnecting

Remove the following items:
- side panel. Side Panel Loadspace
- seat cushion. Seat Cushion, Rear Seat
- seat bolster.




Torque: Safety belt retractor rear to body, 40 Nm

Detach the connector. Refer to: Quick-Release Connector Belt




Torque: Safety belt retractor rear to body, 40 Nm

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check the seat belt function. Refer to: Seat belt function, check Testing and Inspection.

Carry out an inspection. Refer to: Supplementary restraint system (SRS), inspection Testing and Inspection
