INTRODUCTION
NOTE: Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
Trailer module wiring, (TRM)
NOTE: Some steps in these installation instructions are presented with illustration only.
- Fold up the cargo compartment floor's insulation. Remove the foam from the insulation at the perforation.
- Clean the area of the cargo compartment floor as illustrated. Use isopropanol.
- Wipe dry.
- Clean the area of the Trailer module (TRM) as illustrated, use isopropanol.
- Wipe dry.
- Take the two Velcro straps from the kit and press them together edge to edge.
- Cut off the Velcro straps in the center.
- Remove the protective backing tape from one side of the Velcro straps.
- Press the velcro strips onto the control module in the positions illustrated.
- Remove the protective tape from the Velcro fasteners.

- Press the control module onto the cleaned surface.

Applies to cars with parking camera
The image shows the location of the control module for the parking assistance camera (PAC), together with the Trailer Module (TRM), under the insulation at the front edge on the left-hand side of the cargo compartment.
- If the car is equipped with a parking assistance camera, ensure that the Trailer Module (TRM) is positioned so that it and the cables do not rub against the control module of the parking assistance camera.
- Connect the gray 2 pin and green 5 pin pre-routed connector to the trailer module (TRM).
Applies to cars with parking camera
- Connect the 5-pin connector in the adapter cable for the control module for the parking assistance camera (PAC), to the Trailer Module (TRM), see image 11B.
- Press in the catches on the cover of the upper module and remove it.
- Take a 40A fuse from the kit and install in position F11 in the module.
- Reinstall the cover.
- Program the software according to the selected version of tow hitch wiring according to the service information in VIDA.
