AFFECTED VEHICLES:
DESCRIPTION:
The trip computer setting may not stay on the value that the customer has selected after the car has gone into sleep mode. For example, if the customer has selected the average MPG window and shuts the vehicle down with that value displayed, the trip computer window will be blank at the next key cycle. The trip computer functions can then be accessed by scrolling to the desired value.
The root-cause is a SW bug in the DIM (Driver Information Module).
SERVICE:
Download a DIM upgrade if there is a documented customer complaint.
