Oil Pan: Service and Repair






Oil pan

Removal

Drain the oil. Service and Repair









Remove the starter motor. Service and Repair





















Caution! Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Caution! Take extra care not to damage the mating faces.

Installation




Torque: Level sensor engine oil, 8.5 Nm





Install the following items:
- 999 7270 Template 999 7270 Template
Use: Sealant, 1161 771

Use the tool as a template and trace with a felt-tip pen. Apply sealant. - 2.5 ±0.5 mm.
Install the oil sump within 5 minutes so that the sealant does not have time to start to harden.

To ensure sealing in the joint, all screws shall be tightened twice in a row.

Install the following items:
1. Torque: M7, 17 Nm

2. Torque: M7, 17 Nm




Torque: M10, 50 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm




Torque: M6, 10 Nm








Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Fill with oil. Refer to: Oil filter, B6304T2 Service and Repair
