Engine Accessory Bracket: Service and Repair






Accessory Drive Component Bracket

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.






Removal

Remove the accessory belt drive. Refer to: Auxiliary belt, B6304T2 Service and Repair.





Caution! All steps of this installation procedure must be carried out if any part of the auxiliaries bracket is removed.

Installation




Screw in the adjuster screws completely (counterclockwise).




Insert the screw.
Do not tighten. It must be possible to move the bracket.




Insert the screw.
Do not tighten.

Guide the bracket to the correct position using the tool. Check that the tool is correctly positioned on the generator pulley.

Install the following items:
1. Then tighten the tool's guide sleeves (1)
2. Tighten the cap around the generator pulley (2)
3. Tighten the A/C bracket's screw Torque: Console auxiliary unit, 50 Nm
(2).

Caution! Only rotate the generator pulley counterclockwise.




Screw in the upper adjuster screw until it makes contact with the A/C bracket.
Use a 12 mm Allen wrench. Tighten to max 5 Nm!




Torque: M10, 50 Nm





Install the following items:
- Torque: M8, 24 Nm

- Torque: M10, 50 Nm




Screw in the lower adjuster screw until it makes contact with the A/C bracket.
Use a 8 mm Allen wrench. Tighten to max 5 Nm!




Torque: M8, 24 Nm





Remove the following items:
- 999 7262 Position sensor 999 7262 Position Sensor

Fit the auxiliaries belt. Refer to: Auxiliary belt, B6304T2 Service and Repair
