Checking software, phone module (PHM)
Check that the latest available software for the phone module (PHM) is downloaded into the vehicle by purchasing an "upgrade" for the relevant control module.
If an "upgrade" is available, continue to download the software according to the routine.
If an "upgrade" is not available this could mean that the latest available software has already been installed in the vehicle. In order to find out why purchase was not permitted, mark the line for the relevant software purchase and click on "Details".
Note! The corrective action above does not replace the electrical fault-tracings which are connected to the symptom. After checking the software, it is important to carry out a function check to verify that the problem has been remedied.
Hint: If the customer experiences problems with the Phone Module (PHM) not switching back to the home network after a trip abroad, new software must be installed. The problem is based in NITZ (Network Information & Time Zone) , which is a function that not all networks support. The problem is solved in the software released 200722.
