Checking handset
In case of lost function of the handset, this may be due to problems in the cable between Phone module (PHM) and handset.
- Ignition off.
Check the cable (microphone signal) between Phone module (PHM) #C1-19(#19) and secrecy handset's connector #C5-1(#21) for open circuit according to: Checking wiring and terminals Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the cable (loudspeaker signal) between Phone module (PHM) #C1-20(#20) and secrecy handset's connector #C5-2(#22) for open circuit according to: Checking wiring and terminals Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the cable (voltage feed) between Phone module (PHM) #C1-7(#7) and secrecy handset's connector #C5-5(#25) for open circuit according to: Checking wiring and terminals Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the cable (cradle signal) between Phone module (PHM) #C1-8(#8) and secrecy handset's connector #C5-4(#24) for open circuit according to: Checking wiring and terminals Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the cable (ground) between Phone module (PHM) #C1-18(#18) and secrecy handset's connector #C5-3(#23)for open circuit according to: Checking wiring and terminals Checking Wiring and Terminals
Try replacing the handset.
Remedy as necessary.
