Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CPM-U210100

Condition
At start up, the combustion preheater module (CPM) checks the current car configuration.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The configuration is incorrect.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Heater started.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Heater's function blocked.

Possible source
- Combustion preheater module (CPM) is not intended for this vehicle (for example a used control module with different software/hardware).
- Combustion preheater module (CPM) or the heater is intended for a vehicle with gasoline engine but has been installed in a vehicle with diesel engine, or vice versa.

Fault symptom[s]
- Poor heating in compartment
- Activation parking-/auxiliary heater; no function
