Fault-tracing

Note! If diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) DIM-U001000 or DIM-U030000 are detected, fault trace according to these before fault tracing this diagnostic trouble code.

Troubleshoot as follow:
- Check that the fuses are intact.
- Check the connectors and cables.
- Fault-trace the transmitting control module (Infotainment control module (ICM)).
- Check the control area network (CAN). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit.
- Replace the Driver information module (DIM).

Note! After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.

- Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
Check that the relevant diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has switched status from permanent to intermittent fault.
