Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PBM-U014000

Condition
The control module continually supplies necessary information from the Central electronic module (CEM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the communication with the Central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

Alternative 1
- No communication with the Central electronic module (CEM).

Alternative 2
- Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of the information than what Park Brake Module (PBM) accepts.

Alternative 3
- Information about the clutch pedal position sensor or clutch pedal switch, from the central electronic module (CEM), is incorrect or outside permitted range.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition has been on for at least 15 seconds.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Damaged clutch pedal position sensor or clutch pedal switch.
