Condition




The Phone module (PHM) checks the status of the internal reserve system that contains microphone, speaker, SIM card reader, battery and antenna. See the component position for more information on where the components are located.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Voltage is higher than 4.8 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Possible source
- The spare microphone has a short-circuit to voltage or an open circuit.
