Collision protection unit from behind front seat check

Removal




Only applies to vehicles equipped with fixed backrest.

Remove the following items:
- side panel Refer to: Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat
- quick-release connector belt Refer to: Quick-release connector belt Quick-Release Connector Belt.









Caution! The operation has to be performed on both sides of the seat.

Caution! No visible space is allowed between the rivet and the fitting.




In case of visible space between the rivet and the fitting, the rear end collision protection unit front seat shall be replaced Refer to: Collision protection unit from behind front seat Collision Protection Unit From Behind Front Seat.




Only applies to vehicles equipped with foldable backrest.




Adjust the backrest angle until the unit becomes visible.





Caution! The operation has to be performed on both sides of the seat.

Caution! No visible space is allowed between the rivet and the fitting.
