Cleaning, checking and adjusting

Remove the oil pressure sensor. Refer to: Pressure sensor, engine oil, B8444S Service and Repair.

Note! When checking the oil level and oil pressure, the engine should be at normal operating temperature which corresponds to 15 minutes normal driving (100C / 212F). If the oil grade and type and/or oil filter condition cannot be determined, replace the oil and filter.

Start the engine and read the oil pressure at various engine speeds.
Measure oil pressure at:
650 rpm = approx. 1.4 bar
1000 rpm = approx. 2.4 bar
2000 rpm = approx. 4.1 bar

Fit the oil pressure sensor. Refer to: Pressure sensor, engine oil, B8444S Service and Repair.
