Collision Protection Unit From Behind Front Seat Check

NOTE: Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Removal





Only for vehicles with fixed backrest.

Remove the following items:





- side panel acc. to: Side panel front seat
- quick-coupling, belt acc. to: Quick-release connector belt.





CAUTION:
- The operation must be carried out on both sides of the seat.
- There must be no visible space between the rivet and the mount.





If there is visible space between the rivet and the mount, the rear impact protection unit of the front seat must be replaced acc. to Collision protection unit from behind front seat.

Only for vehicles with folding backrest.









Adjust the backrest rake until the unit is visible.





CAUTION:
- The operation must be carried out on both sides of the seat.
- There must be no visible space between the rivet and the mount.





CAUTION: If there is visible space between the rivet and the mount, the rear impact protection unit of the front seat must be replaced acc. to: Collision protection unit from behind front seat

To install, reverse the removal procedure
