Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Switch off the lighting switch.

Location of components




1. Turn signal lamps
2. Parking lamps, applies to vehicles with Bi-Xenon lamps
3. Parking lamps, applies to vehicles equipped with halogen lamps
4. Dipped beam
5. Main beam
6. Sidemarker lamps front.

Bulb headlamp, replacing

Removing air filter housing




Detach the air cleaner housing from the 3 x clips by pulling straight up and placing to one side.

Removing the bulb low beam

Note! For vehicles with Bi-Xenon lamps, see Bi-Xenon lamps, replacing Bi-Xenon Lamps, Replacing.





Remove:
- the cover
- the bulb by turning
- the connector
- the bulb.

Installing bulb low beam

Hint: Look through the glass of the headlamp to align the lamp.

Install:
- the connector
- the bulb, press and turn
- the cover.

Bulb high beam, replacing

Removing bulb high beam





Remove:
- the cover
- the bulb by pressing and twisting it
- the connector.

Installing the bulb high beam

- the bulb, turn
- the cover.

Bulb parking lamps halogen headlamps, replacing

Hint: Use round-nosed pliers, the bulb holder is difficult to access.

Remove:
- the cover
- the bulb holder by pressing in the catches on the side and pulling
- the bulb.

Install:
- the bulb
- the bulb holder
- the cover.

Remove the fuel filler pipe.

Remove:
- the bulb holder by pressing and twisting it
- the bulb.

Turn signal lamps





Installing the bulb for side marker lamps/turn signal lamps

Install:
- the bulb
- the bulb holder by pressing and twisting it.

Installing the air cleaner (ACL) housing




Install the air cleaner housing by aligning the clip mountings and pressing in.
Check that the intake pipe is in position. Check that the clips engage the air cleaner housing properly.
