Frozen values in the brake control module, description

Explanation
The values described below were stored in the control module memory when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
All parameters do not need to be implemented in one control module. This varies from system to system.

Note! Parameters marked with STC (stability and traction control)/DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) are only displayed on cars equipped with STC (stability and traction control) and DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control). Parameters marked with DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) are only displayed on cars equipped with DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control).

Time since the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was first stored
The time in hours since the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was first stored. The brake control module obtains the value via the Control Area Network (CAN) from the central electronic module. The time is the total time that the central electronic module has been running.

Outside temperature
The value indicates the outside temperature when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The brake control module obtains the value via the Control Area Network (CAN) from the central electronic module.

Actual gear
The value indicates the selected gear when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The brake control module obtains the value via the CAN from the transmission control module (TCM) if the car is equipped with automatic transmission or from the central electronic module if the car is equipped with manual transmission.

Engine torque
The value displays the engine torque. The value is given in Nm.

Requested torque
The value indicates the requested torque depending on the driving instance the brake control module has sent to the engine control module. The value is indicated in Nm.

Clutch pedal
The value displays if the clutch pedal has been affected or not.

Stability traction control (STC)/DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) function
The value indicates the function status. The function is automatically switched on at ignition but can be switched off manually.

Engine speed (RPM)
The engine control module (ECM) transmits the engine speed (RPM) on the Control area network (CAN) from where the brake control module retrieves the signal. The value of the engine speed is given in rpm.

Control module power supply
The value indicates the system voltage. The value is given in volts (V).

Pump motor
The value indicates the pump motor status

The value indicates the vehicle speed in km/h.

The vehicle acceleration
The value indicates the forward acceleration of the car in m/s2.

The brake disc temperature
The value indicates the highest temperature on any of the brake discs in °C.

Steering wheel angle (DSTC)
The value displays the steering wheel angle in degrees.

Pedal position sensor position
The value indicates the position of the pedal position sensor.

Direction of travel (DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) )
The value indicates the direction of travel of the car at the moment the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.

Pressure sensor 1, brake pressure (DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) )
The value indicates the pressure in the primary circuit of the brake system.

Pressure sensor 2, brake pressure (DSTC (dynamic stability and traction control) )
The value indicates the pressure in the secondary circuit of the brake system.
The value is indicated in bar

ABS control
The value indicates if the ABS function was operating at the moment the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.

The value displays the status of the pressure build-up valve.
