Checking that the RTI screen closes
Checking the component
Check that nothing is preventing the screen from closing.
Check the fuse in the passenger compartment fusebox. For further information about the fuses and relays, see the Wiring Diagram.
Check the cable between display screen terminal #J4 and control module terminal #C4. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.

No - Replacing the component

Replacing the component
Try replacing the display screen.
Ignition on.
Deploy and close the screen with the RTI switch on the steering wheel or with the remote control.
