Front seat

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Disconnect the battery negative lead. See: Battery Disconnecting

Removal

Removing the front seat





Remove:
- the 2 panels located above the front screws for the seat
- the 4 x M10 screws
- the front seat side panel. See: Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat
- the end mounting. See: Quick-release connector belt Quick-Release Connector Belt
- the screw. Remove the connector under the seat.
Lift out the seat.

Caution! Two people are required for this take to prevent damage to the interior trim or the seat.

Installation

Install:
- the connector using the screw
- the 4 x M10 screws
- the 2 panels
- the end mounting. See: Quick-release connector belt Quick-Release Connector Belt
- the side panel as described in Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat.

Finishing

Fit the battery's negative cable in accordance with:.
