Installing protective tape





Note! When applying the protective tape, the temperature of the underlay must be at least 16 °C (61 ˚F).

Wash clean the surface properly before applying the protective tape.

Apply 50/50 isopropanol and water on the area where the protective tape is to be applied.

Install the protective tape level with the moldings upper edge of the Q glass and even with the door opening radius, see illustration.

Note! The tape must not go around the radius forward in the vehicle.

Scrape and press the tape to expel air bubbles or kinks.

Note! The vehicle must not be washed whilst the tape cures, which takes 24 hours.
