Removing pulley




Remove the power steering pump. See Power steering pump, replacing, B8444S Power Steering Pump, Replacing
Secure the power steering pump in a vice
Remove the pulley. Use 999 5737 Puller 999 5737 Puller.

Installing pulley, alternative 1





Install the pulley. Lubricate the pump shaft with oil
Use 999 5738 Press tool 999 5738 Press Tool.
- Counterhold using B
- Tighten with A.

Installing pulley, alternative 2




Install the screw on the pump shaft.

Note! Use a screw with the correct thread (M8x75 mm).

Install special tool 999 5628 Press tool 999 5628 Press Tool on compression tool 999 5575 PULLER CYLINDER USED WITH HYDRAULIC PUMP -5576 999 5575 Puller Cylinder Used With Hydraulic Pump -5576.
Lubricate the pump shaft and install the pulley.
Install tool 999 5628 Press tool 999 5628 Press Tool on the pulley. Hook tool 999 5628 Press tool 999 5628 Press Tool onto the pump shaft screw.




Press in the pulley to the listed measurement
Install the power steering pump. See Power steering pump, replacing, B8444S Power Steering Pump, Replacing.
