Silencer, rear, replacement

Removal

Removing the rear silencer




Measure235 mmfrom the front silencer's rear end face in accordance with step A in the illustration.
Mark and cut the pipe, use pipe cutter115 8590 PIPE CUTTER 115 8590 Pipe Cutter.

Remove:
- the rubber mountings, x3
- the silencer.

Applies to second-time or later replacements.

Remove:
- the nut to the clamp between the front and rear silencer
- the rubber mountings, x3
- the silencer.

Installation

Note! To ensure that there is no exhaust leakage, see: Flanged joint, assembling Flanged Joint, Assembling.

Installing the rear silencer

Install:
- a new silencer
- the rubber mountings, x3
- the nut, M10, to the clamp between the front and rear silencer.
