Installation

Illustrations A and B

- Take three nuts, washer and the cradle out of the kit and secure to the loudspeaker grille.
- Tighten the cradle.

- Pry up the lower edge of the panel on both sides and pull it outward and downward. The connector on the 12V outlet will detach from the panel as the cable is very short.

Note! The cable harness is always routed on the right-hand side through the tunnel console and the centre console on both left and right-hand drive cars.

- Fold out the mat by the front edge on the right-hand side of the tunnel console.
- Insert a wire spiral through the hole illustrated (by the existing cable) and on and out at the front edge of the tunnel console.
- Tape the connector and a piece of the cable harness to the wire spiral and carefully pull it through. Help to feed it out through the hole for the gear shift gaiter and the hole where the storage compartment was located. If necessary lift up the rear edge of the tunnel console to facilitate routing.

- Take the foam tape from the kit and remove the protective tape.

- Wind foam tape around the fuse holder.

- Connect the 12V outlet's black male connector (1) to the equivalent white female connector (2) on the routed adapter cable.
- Connect the remaining adapter cable's white male connector to the 12V outlet.

- Insert the connector and fuse holder in the same hole as the cable to the 12V outlet was routed.

- Refit the rear panel and ensure that the cables and fuse holder inside are not pinched.

Applies to cars with manual gearbox
- Pull all surplus cable up to the front edge of the tunnel console. The cable must be routed on the right-hand side of the control arms to the gear shift.
- Secure pieces of butyl tape between the floor mat and the panel to keep the cable harness from the gear shift control.

Applies to cars with automatic gearbox
- Pull all surplus cable up to the front edge of the tunnel console.
- Pull up the cable in the middle of the shift carrier and secure with pieces of butyl tape.

Applies to all models
- Insert a wire spiral from the outlet where the air outlet was located and down to the right-hand side of the tunnel console.
- Tape the connector and a piece of the cable harness to the wire spiral.
- Carefully pull the cable harness up through the hole for the air outlet.

- Take out the short connection cable from the kit and connect to the newly routed cable harness.

- Pull up the cable through the hole in the loudspeaker console.

- Connect the connector in the routed cable to the connection on the cradle.

Note! Ensure the stud bolts fit in their holes before securing the grille.

- Push the cable through the holes in the grille and loudspeaker console.
- Carefully push on the loudspeaker grille with the cradle on the loudspeaker console. File out the holes for the stud bolts if necessary.
- Remove the paper from inside the dashboard and the air ducts.
- Secure the two green connectors using a piece of butyl tape in a suitable place to prevent rattling.
- Pull down all surplus cable and conceal behind the floor mat.
