INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text section

Note! Some steps in these installation instructions are presented with illustration only.
Note! The surface must be kept at a temperature of at least15°C (60°F). Leave the vehicle indoors for 2 hours after finishing the work. Do not wash the car for 48 hours.
Note! Paint those parts of the doors' new moulding strips that are positioned directly against the doors of the car the same color as the car according to the applicable regulations.
- Turn the ignition key to position 0.
Note! Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.
Decor panel, lower air intake
- Remove the screws on both sides.
- Remove the screws and the clips in the air baffle.
- Remove the air baffle.
Applies to cars without parking assistance
- Pry the catches to one side around the lower grille and press out towards the radiator.
- Remove the grille. Place the grille to one side. This will not be reused.
Steps 7-14 apply to cars with parking assistance
- Disconnect the connectors for the sensors.
- Pry the catches to one side around the lower grille and press out towards the radiator.
- Take the grille out.
- Carefully pry up the tabs on the upper and lower side of the sensor holders using a small screwdriver, so that the catches on the sensor release and the sensor can be pulled out.
- Carefully press in the catches on the lower and upper side of the sensor holder and press out.
- Repeat steps 9-10 for the sensor on the other side.
- Remove the grille. It will not be used again.
- Take the new grille from the kit and press the sensor holder into it. Ensure that the cut-out marked with an arrow is turned towards the outer edge of the grille.
- Carefully press the sensor into the holder. Ensure that the catches engage.
- Repeat the steps 11-12 on the other side.
- Install the new grille. Ensure that all the catches engage.
- Connect the connectors to the sensors.
Applies to cars without parking assistance
- Take a new grille from the kit. Ensure that all catches engage.
Decor panel fog lamps
- Carefully pry off the fog lamp's panel using a weatherstrip. It is secured by six clips.
Applies to cars without parking assistance
- Remove the panel. It will not be used again.
Steps 17-22 apply to cars with parking assistance
- Disconnect the cable to the sensor.
- Carefully pry up the tabs on the upper and lower side of the sensor holders using a small screwdriver, so that the catches on the sensor release and the sensor can be pulled out.
- Carefully press in the catches on the lower and upper side of the sensor holder and press out.
- Remove the panel. It will not be used again.
- Take the new panel from the kit and press the sensor holder into it.
Ensure that the cut-out marked with an arrow is turned towards the outer edge of the panel.
- Carefully press the sensor into the holder. Ensure that the catches engage.
- Repeat steps 18-21 for the other panel.
- Plug in the connector to the sensor.
Applies to all models
- Install the new panels.
- Install the screws on both sides.
Decor strip doors
- Remove the lower strip on the door by carefully prying it off using a weatherstrip tool opposite each clip.
It is secured by six clips in the front doors and four in the rear doors.
- Repeat for all doors.
- Take the chrome strips, locking washers and clips from the kit.
- Press the chrome strip onto the painted door strip and secure with locking washers. Do not damage the strips.
- Repeat for all doors.
- Press new clips in the door strip.
- Repeat for all doors.
- Press the door strip onto the door side. Make sure that all clips have engaged.
- Repeat for all doors.
Decor strip tail lamps
- Wash the rear edge of the tail lamp where the decor strip is to be positioned. Use isopropanol part.no.1161721. Wipe dry.
- Cut off five pieces of cardboard that fit in the gap between the tail lamp and bumper cover.
- Take a decor strip for the tail lamp from the kit and cut off a small piece of protective tape at the longer of the ends on the strip.
- Align the corner of the strip with the corner of the tail lamp and cardboard pieces. Press in the end on the longer part of the strip so that the tape adheres.
- Now pull off the protective tape at the same time as pressing the strip into place by hand. Ensure that the strip maintains its position against the cardboard pieces on the part of the strip that still has protective tape on.
Note! Do not secure the strip too close to the protective tape so that it risks being pulled off.
- Remove the cardboard pieces.
- Now press the entire strip securely so that it adheres properly.
- Repeat the steps for the other tail lamp.
