INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text section

- Turn the ignition key to position 0.





Remove the panel around the display and the media player:
- Press in the catch at one of the panel's upper corners. Use a small screwdriver. Carefully prize off the radio panel on the same side. Use a plastic weatherstrip tool.
- Carry out the same procedure on the other side. Then fold the radio panel backward in the vehicle.
- Pull up the radio panel until it detaches.

Hint: If there is difficulty removing the panel, press the panel back into place on both sides and start the removal procedure again. Start from the opposite side to before.




- Remove the gear lever panel by carefully prizing it away starting at the rear edge and then continuing forward. It is fitted with six catches underneath.

- Remove the gear lever panel from the gaiter by first pressing in the four catches at the sides, and then pull the panel up.









- Fold up the cover for the storage compartment in the rear section of the tunnel console.




- Remove the covers and screws in the rear edge of the upper panel section of the centre console, remove the screws on the rear of the panel and then remove the remaining screws on the top, ten in total.




- Remove the edge clip with cable from the lower section of the centre console.




- Carefully angle up the upper section of the centre console at the front edge so that the edge clip for the large cable harness on the left-hand side of the centre console is accessible.
- Detach the clip with cable harness from its holder.

Note! Do not damage the fibre optic cables and other cables.




- Angle the upper section further in order to access the four connectors on the rear of the climate control module (CCM).
- Unplug the connectors. The connector (1) has a catch on the rear in toward the upper section.




- Remove the upper section of the panel by moving it backward at the front edge and then lifting it out from the rear edge of the tunnel console.




- Remove the two screws from the media player.




- Pull the media player out fully and unplug the connectors on the rear. Place the media player to one side, it shall not be used again.




- Take the new CD changer from the kit and plug the connectors into the rear.
- Insert the CD changer into its location in the dashboard while making sure that the guide pins at the sides engage in the corresponding rails in the dashboard.
- Guide the CD player in the guide pins on the front and tighten it in using the existing screws.




- Reinstall the upper section of the panel.




- Plug the connectors into the CCM unit.

Note! Do not damage the fibre optic cables and other cables.




- Reinstall the edge clip with cable harness in the holder.




- Reinstall the edge clip with cable harness in the lower section of the centre console.




- Tighten the panel in using the existing screws.
- Reinstall the covers on the screws at the rear edge.




- Reinstall the panel for the media player.

- Reinstall the gear lever panel on the gaiter.









- Reinstall the panel with gaiter in the centre console.




- Fold back the cover for the storage compartment.
