This applies to the following vehicles:
- S80 (07-), structure week 200605- 200808.
- V70 (08-), structure week 200720 - 200808.
- XC70 (08-), structure week 200720 - 200808.
The audio system, Premium Sound, may have problems with sound quality at loud volumes. To improve audio quality a new software has been developed with improved settings for equalizer, high-pass filter, and amplification.
- Update software in Infotainment control module (ICM).
- Update the software in the Audio module (AUD) if the vehicle's structure week is earlier than 200724.
- Update the software in Subwoofer Module (SUB). Applies to V70 (08-) and XC70 (08-) equipped with Subwoofer module (SUB).
