Condition
The Differential electronic module (DEM) monitors the information that comes from other control modules. The Central electronic module (CEM) informs about the vehicle's configuration, among other things.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Central electronic module (CEM) indicates an incorrect vehicle configuration.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
