Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information DEM-P066727
Condition
The Differential Electronic Module (DEM) has a temperature sensor fitted on the control module's circuit board. If the temperature exceeds a preset value all wheel drive is disabled. This is to protect the gear box from too high load, which can result in internal mechanical faults.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Temperature exceeds a specific value.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine running.
Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disengaged.
Possible source
- Connector resistance and oxidation in the connectors.
- Damaged temperature sensor in the control module.
- Damaged control module.
Fault symptom[s]
- All wheel drive doesn't work
