Condition
The Phone module (PHM) checks the voltage supply to the telephone handset.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The power supply is higher than 9 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.
Substitute value
- Only hands-free operates.
Possible source
- The cable for voltage supply to the handset from the Phone module (PHM) is short-circuited to supply voltage.
