Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B102671

Condition
The steering column lock module (SCL) checks the operation of the steering column lock. The lock plunger's position is indicated for Steering column lock module (SCL) using a switch and the information is sent to Central electronic module (CEM). Steering column lock module (SCL) also sends the result from the control module's internal tests to Central electronic module (CEM). When the remote key is removed from the start unit, the central electronic module (CEM) sends, after a number of checks, a request to the Steering column lock module (SCL) that the steering lock shall be locked.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The lock plunger has been unable to reach its locked position.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- All ignition positions.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
