Warning! Non-deployed pyrotechnical SRS components must not be deployed or ignited inside the vehicle.

Individual SRS components must be removed according to the instructions for the relevant model.

S80:

Warning! Pyrotechnical SRS components must never be taken apart, repaired or transferred to another vehicle.

Warning! Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed SRS component. This could deploy the SRS component.

Storage and transport





Warning! When temporarily storing the driver's airbag (SRS) it must be positioned with the metal side (reverse side) down in a well protected site.

Note! For longer storage periods (unattended storage) the airbags, inflatable curtains and other pyrotechnical SRS components must be stored in the original packaging (wire wool packaging) at a dedicated site

Warning! In the event of a fire at the storage site, the fire authorities must be informed of the presence of pyrotechnical SRS components according to the relevant national statutory requirements.

Note! Loose inflatable curtains (IC) must always be stored in inflatable curtain (IC) racks, or in other approved packaging.

Warning! Inflatable curtains must not be exposed to temperatures above 110 °C.

Airbags and pyrotechnical SRS components must be transported according to the relevant national statutory requirements.
