Spoiler, rear, replacement

Removal

Removing the rear spoiler





Remove:
- the bolts, x2, in the bottom edges of the end faces
- the spring nuts, x2




- the clips, 2 per side, in the rear edge/bottom edge.




Pull away the spoiler's end faces.




Pull the spoiler away at the rear edge.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see applicable specifications.

Caution! Clean the surfaces on the bumper cover where the new spoiler shall be fitted, otherwise there is a risk of paintwork damage.

Installing the rear spoiler





Install:
- the spoiler at the rear edge. Press in the catches
- the clips, 2 per side




- both end faces of the spoiler. Press in the catches.




Bend up the flexible brackets in the bottom edges of the end faces.
Fit the new spring nuts, x2.
Fit the bolts, M5 x2, through the brackets in the drilled holes. Tighten.

Note! If the vehicle was not previously fitted with a spoiler then these holes must be drilled with a 5 - mm bit. Use the bracket holes as templates.
