Steps 1-10 apply to S60/V70/V70XC




- Turn the ignition switch to position 0.

Note! Carry out steps 1-10 on both sides.

- Remove the clips (1) by pressing in the centre pins and then removing them.
- Remove the cover panel (2) to the door handle. Use a weatherstrip tool. Start at the top or bottom edge.
- Remove the two screws (3) under the cover panel.
- Remove the cover (4) for the door mirror by carefully prizing it away all around using a weatherstrip tool.
- Detach the door panel. First slide the panel upwards and unhook the top edge.




- Detach the cable to the door opener.
- Detach the connectors to the door module and to the treble loudspeaker.
- Place the door panel to one side.




- Unplug the connectors to the door mirror.




- Carefully prize up the catch on the sixteen-pin green connector to the door mirror.




- Take the pink (P) cable and connect the end of the cable with the thin cable terminal in position 14 in the connector.
- Snap in the catch and plug in the connector.




- Route the cable to the thirty-pin green connector as illustrated.




- Carefully prize up the catch on the thirty-pin green connector.




- Take the other end of the cable routed previously and connect it in position 29 in the connector.
- Snap in the catch.




- Take three tie straps from the kit and clamp in the routed cable at the existing cable harness.

- Plug in the connectors to the door module and the treble loudspeaker.
- Connect the cable to the door opener.
- Reinstall the door panel with clips, screws and cover panel.
- Reinstall the cover to the door mirror.

Steps 11-22 apply to the S80




- Turn the ignition switch to position 0.

Note! Carry out steps 11-22 on both sides.

- Carefully prize up the cover in the door handle using a weatherstrip tool and remove the screw underneath.




- Carefully prize away the door opener surround all around using a weatherstrip tool.




- Remove the clips (1) by pressing in the centre pins and then removing them.
- Remove the cover panel (2) to the door handle. Use a weatherstrip tool. Start at the top or bottom edge.
- Remove the two screws (3) under the cover panel.
- Remove the cover (4) for the door mirror by carefully prizing it away all around using a weatherstrip tool.
- Detach the door panel. First slide the panel upwards and unhook the top edge.




- Detach the connectors to the door module and to the treble loudspeaker.
- Place the door panel to one side.




- Unplug the connectors to the door mirror.




- Carefully prize up the catch on the sixteen-pin green connector to the door mirror.




- Take the pink (P) cable and connect the end of the cable with the thin cable terminal in position 14 in the connector.




- Route the cable to the thirty-pin green connector as illustrated.




- Carefully prize up the catch on the thirty-pin green connector.




- Take the other end of the cable routed previously and connect it in position 29 in the connector.
- Snap in the catch.




- Take three tie straps from the kit and clamp in the routed cable at the existing cable harness.

- Plug in the connectors to the door module and the treble loudspeaker.
- Reinstall the door panel with clips, screws, cover panels and surround.
- Reinstall the cover to the door mirror.
