The front fender is mounted with 9 screws.
The plastic wheel arch liner is mounted with pop rivets.

Replacing protective tape
The protective tape is replaced at the same time as the front fender. See : Protective tape front fender, replacing Protective Tape Front Fender, Replacing.

Adjusting the front wheel arch liner
A new version of the front wheel arch liner has been introduced. An adjustment is necessary to be able to use the new wheel arch liner on vehicles up to model year 2004.




Position and tighten a rivet (1) in the existing hole. The rivet should cover the entire hole.
Drill a new hole at the marking. Use a 7 mm drill bit (A).
