12V socket, cargo compartment

- Remove the rear floor hatch. Open the rear floor hatch and pull it straight backwards.
- Place the floor hatch to one side.
- Turn the knobs on the right and left-hand sides of the storage box. Lift out the storage box.

Only applies to cars with an auxiliary rear facing seat







- Fold up the auxiliary rear facing seat's seat cushion.
- Turn the knobs on the right and left-hand sides of the trough. Lift out the trough.







- Remove the folding panel from the right-hand side in the cargo compartment.

Only applies to cars with an auxiliary rear facing seat







- Remove the side floor hatch on the right-hand side by first prizing up one end with a plastic weatherstrip tool, and then pull the side floor hatch up.

- Remove the right side panel by first removing the cover and the screw in the front edge.
- Pull the top edge of the panel out until the clips release.
- Fold the panel inwards. Lift the panel out.

Only applies to cars with an auxiliary rear facing seat







- Remove the side panel on the right-hand side by first removing the cover and screw in the front edge.
- Pull the top edge of the panel out until the clips release.
- Pull the seatbelt from the holder (1).
- Remove the seatbelt cover (2) by bending away the catches on the underside and pulling the cover up.
- Fold the panel inwards. Lift the panel out.







- Take the right side panel and drill out the hole for the 12V socket in the marking in the upper rear corner on the lower section of the panel.
- Pre-drill the hole using a dia 3 mm (1/8") bit.
- Drill out the hole using a dia 27 mm (1 1/16") diameter hole saw.
- File out the hole with a round and square file.







- Install the 12V socket in the panel.
- Fit the nut on the 12V socket on the rear side of the panel and tighten.
- Identify the routed cable located by the right-hand floor support. Plug in the connector.

Reinstall:







- the side panel. Make sure that the cable to the 12V socket is not trapped when it is installed.
- the folding hatch.
- the storage box.
- the rear floor hatch

Only applies to cars with an auxiliary rear facing seat
- Reinstall the side panel. Make sure that the cable to the 12V socket is not trapped when it is installed.
- Reinstall the seatbelt cover.
- Guide the seatbelt into its holder.
- Reinstall the side floor hatch.
- Reinstall the trough.
- Fold back the auxiliary rear facing seat's seat cushion.
