Removal
Removing the rear side window
Remove any wiring to the window.
Slide in a piece of tape into the PUR bead (1).
Insert a wire inserter in the upper front corner, as illustrated.
Cut off approximately 4 m of wire from the roll.
Secure the wire and pull the ends approximately 50 cm into the vehicle.
Pull the wire around and downwards so it forms an eyelet around the outside of the windshield.
Check that the wire is at the bottom against the bead of adhesive.
Stretch the wire so it is still in position at the bottom. Pull in the excess from one end of the wire.
Secure the long end of the wire in the upper winch. Raise about 20 cm.
Check that the loose end of the wire is not slipping.
Secure the other end of the wire in the lower winch.
Use the upper winch to wind in the wire as much as possible.
Winch in the wire using the lower winch until the wire reaches the locating pin (2).
Protect the interior trim using the parabolic chisel when the wire is fed in.
Bend out the window. Cut away the window using a snap-blade universal knife.
