Tow Sensor: Service and Repair

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Remove the cowl. See: Plenum chamber Service and Repair.

Note! The siren/level sensor is mounted on the right-hand side in left-hand drive cars, and on the left-hand side on right-hand drive cars.

Removal

Removing the siren/level sensor




Remove the 2 M6 nuts.





Remove:
- 2 M6 nuts
- the siren/level sensor from the bracket
- the connector.

Installation

Installing the siren/level sensor

Install:
- the connector
- the siren/level sensor in the bracket
- 2 M6 nuts
- the siren/level sensor and the bracket
- 2 M6 nuts
- the cowl. See: Plenum chamber Service and Repair.
