Removal

Removing bevel gear
Remove the bevel gear. Refer to: Bevel gear, B8444S, TF-80SC AWD Bevel Gear

Note! Check thoroughly that no seal residue remains.




Position the bevel gear over a receptacle.
Allow the oil to run out through the bearing.
Clean any spilled oil from the seal ring seat in the bevel gear using a lint-free cloth.

Installation





Install:
- 999 7189 Drift 999 7189 Drift
- the gasket

Note! When the tool is removed, check that 999 7189 Drift was removed with it.

Installing the bevel gear
Install the bevel gear. Refer to: Bevel gear, B8444S, TF-80SC AWD Bevel Gear

Finishing

Checking the oil level




Check the oil level in the bevel gear.
Use oil. Refer to: Lubrication transmission Specifications
Fill up oil to the oil filler plug. Suck out 0.1 l oil.
Torque: Oil filler plug, bevel gear, 35 Nm
