DESCRIPTION:

We have received some report stating that the cable to the level sensor on 4C chassis and cars equipped with ABL headlamps, is chafing against the wheel arch liner.

This is due to a cutout in the wheel arch liner. Symptoms observed are headlight aim is off and a message in DIM will appear stating "Headlamp, service required" the DTC HCM-B104301 will be set.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:

A modified wheel arch liner has been introduced in production from 07w09.

SERVICE:

Repair the cable according to instructions in VIDA and replace the wheel arch liner with a new one, without the cut out.
