REFERENCE
VIDA
DESCRIPTION:
It has been reported that the trunk lid may be hard to open / may not open from the exterior handle. This may be due to a non-functioning touch pad / micro switch assembly due to a torn handle assembly. The solution is to replace the handle assembly. It will also be necessary to replace the chrome trim strip on the trunk lid.

SERVICE:
As noted above it will be necessary to replace both the chrome trim and the handle assembly. The order of the replacement should be as follows;
- Remove the Chrome Trip Strip
- Remove the Handle Assembly
- Install the Handle Assembly
- Install the Chrome Trip Strip
Note:
Currently the instructions are in VIDA 2006B separately, from 2007C forward they will be combined into one procedure.
