Removal

Preparations
Remove the left drive shaft according to: Drive shaft left, replacing Drive Shaft Left, Replacing.

Removing the seal ring





Remove:
- the metal ring. Use a small screwdriver
- the sealing ring. Use: 999 5768 Puller 999 5768 Puller.





Note! Check that there is no residue of the old seal.

Installation

Installing the seal ring




Carefully install the sealing ring. Use: 999 5769 Pilot 999 5769 Pilot and 999 5770 Drift 999 5770 Drift.
Ensure that the sealing ring is correctly positioned on the drive shaft.

Finishing
Install the left-hand drive shaft. See: Drive shaft left, replacing Drive Shaft Left, Replacing.
