Bushing, clutch pedal, replacing

Removal

Remove the soundproofing panel on the right-hand side

Remove the pedal position sensor from the push rod




Remove the catch for the push rod.
Move the push rod to one side away from the pedal. Fold the pedal down.
Remove the return spring from its bracket.

Remove clutch pedal screws




First slacken of the screw at the relay bracket. Leave it in place.

Remove:
- the other screw at the bracket. Counterhold using a 24 mm ring wrench
- the clutch pedal from the bracket.

Replace the bushings in the brake pedal





Remove:
- the pedal shaft from the pedal
- the bushings.

Install:
- the new bushings in the pedal. Lubricate the bushings using grease; P/N 1161241-3
- the pedal shaft on the clutch pedal.

Installation

Install clutch pedal on bracket





Install:
- the pedal on the bracket. Align the pedal with the screw that remained in bracket
- the other screw. Counterhold during tightening. Tighten to 25 Nm.

Install clutch components in car





Install:
- the return spring
- the pedal position sensor
- the push rod on the pedal. Secure it with the catch.
Check the clutch pedal function a few times.
Install the soundproofing panel.
