No fault tracing procedure has been defined for this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for CAN communication can also be stored in the Central Electronic module (CEM). In certain instances the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is also set in other affected control modules. This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) must not be erased before any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) in the Central Electronic Module (CEM), for CAN communication, and in the Engine Control Module (ECM) have first been remedied and erased.
Therefore, read off any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the Central Electronic Module (CEM) and the Engine Control Module (ECM). Carry out fault tracing procedures and remedy as necessary. If no trouble codes are stored, look for faults in the Control Area Network (CAN) as described below. This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be then erased.
